A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy within K-12 schools, located in Kenner, Louisiana. This role serves students in the Jefferson Parish School District and offers a contract through the current school year, ending May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities include delivering teletherapy services to support the communication needs of a diverse student population. The SLP will manage a caseload yet to be determined, providing tailored therapeutic interventions aligned with educational goals. Collaboration with school staff and adherence to state and district guidelines are essential components of this position.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state license and full licensure in the candidates state of residence
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- A minimum of three years of experience in school-based speech therapy, preferably within Louisiana schools
- Proven experience providing teletherapy services
- Successful completion of a technical screening
- At least one professional reference available for review
The position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, typically seven hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Candidates must be prepared for a prescreening process and interviews are expected to begin in early December.
